Fold

& Wear it proud
This page represents all my devotion to origami paper folding & my absolute love for making jewelry pieces that also capture my travels of this world so far.
I've been folding origami cranes as a meditative process since I was a young kid (special thanks to my JA-HI grandmama for teaching me). And my love for artsy jewelry compelled me to start making my own. So I travel this world, collect natural "tokens" of pieces - through hiking, motorcycling & exploring the sandy beaches/trails of different countries... to include those pieces in my resin art jewelry is what makes it memorable to me. I've learned epoxy resin (although not fancy silver, gold, etc.) very well keeps the color, the memory & the experience of where those tokens are from. Be them from the hiking adventure of America's greatest national forests, or the calm strolls along sandy beaches of Amalfi.
Additionally I've dabbled in a Japanese art form called "Sembazuru", which involves folding many cranes and then shaping them into a design (often a zodiac animal symbol) and framing the piece. These pieces are very sentimental and often done for weddings or for family/friends going through difficult time... but I am overly ecstatic to work with anyone on a personalized Sembazuru piece :)
Overall, much more to come with jewelry to couple with my tenured folding of origami cranes.
